J.M. PEtrick
J.M. Petrick is an artist and author based in Los Angeles. For more than a decade, he’s created street art under the name Morley, and his work can be found not only pasted across the urban landscape, but in galleries the world over, television shows, magazines, and album covers. He’s lectured at LACMA and numerous universities, and was a focus in national commercial campaigns for both Toyota and Smirnoff Vodka. His published collections include "If You’re Reading This, There’s Still Time" and "Let’s Burn This Moment Down To The Filter", which are both available from Abrams Books.
Dead Flowers is his debut novel.
A WASHED-UP CHILD ACTOR…
A MISSING TWIN…
SOME STARS BURN OUT,
OTHERS VANISH WITHOUT A TRACE.
Former child-stars Will and Billy Benson were once TV royalty, until their hit ’90s sitcom was abruptly canceled. Decades later, Will lives in obscurity, while Billy clings to fading fame and spirals into addiction. Then one night, Billy shows up at Will’s door - bloody, panicked, and mumbling something cryptic, only to vanish by morning. To find his brother, Will must navigate a trail of half-truths and dive into the shadows of Hollywood’s underbelly, where washed-up agents, porn stars, toxic influencers, and obsessive fans all have something to hide. The deeper he digs, the darker the truth becomes… and the more Will realizes he might be the next to disappear.
